Test Program for Assessing Vulnerability of Industrial Equipment to Nuclear Air Blast.

Abstract

The report discusses the design of a test program to develop technical data on the vulnerability of industrial equipment to air blast from nuclear weapons (1 megaton weapons size in the overpressure region up to 20 psi). To achieve the experimental objective, scale models, full size models, and actual equipment may be used for different facets of the program under specific circumstances. (Author)
