Tailoring Shipboard Training to Fleet Performance Needs: 5. Design and Production of Training Materials

Abstract

To promote the implementation of the shipboard propulsion plant operator training (SPPOT) system within the Fleet, it was necessary to provide guidelines and specifications for the development of SPPOT materials. A SPPOT development Handbook was designed to provide the information required for effective development of SPPOT materials.
