Research and Crystal Growth on High Dielectric Constant Materials for mm Wave Applications.

Abstract

The primary objectives of this program are to grow high-quality single crystals of materials which are candidates for electro-optic phase shifters at mm wavebands. The materials initially selected were the ferroelectric fluorides with the tetragonal SrA1F5 structure, BaxSr1-xTiO3 solid solutions, and CdIn2Te4.
