Development of a Pressurized Anti-Exposure Barrier System.

Abstract

A protective foam barrier was conceived to serve as a normal flight garment to enhance flame resistance, reduce adverse thermal conduction, and provide flotation during emergency conditions. Preliminary studies investigated feasibility of utilizing pressurized foam between two layers of cloth to envelop the wearer's torso and limbs.
