Report on Flood Control Alternatives, Crow River at Rockford, Minnesota.

Abstract

Following major flooding at Rockford, Minnesota in 1965 and 1969, the village council requested the Corps of Engineers to study the feasibility of implementing permanent flood damage reduction measures. The report investigates structural and nonstructural flood reduction alternatives. The report includes a nontechnical summary and a technical appendix of detailed information on the study and report, environmental setting and resources, problems and needs, and plan formulation.
