Linear-Force Actuators for Use on Shipboard Weapons and Cargo Elevators.

Abstract

Reports of hydraulic problems in weapons elevator systems prompted a low-level study. Major areas opf concern are: hydraulic fluid leakage; contamination of hydraulic fluid; maintenance and repair. Findings and recommendations are discussed.
