US Army Firefinder Radars: A Case Study of Manpower, Personnel and Training Requirements Determination

Abstract

This report describes and analyzes the procedures used to determine manpower, personnel and training (MPT) requirements for the Firefinder Radars (AN/TPQ-36, AN/TPQ-37) and related accomplishment of actual MPT events/documents to those called for in the Life Cycle System Management Model (LCSMM). It addresses concerns being raised about the adequacy and timeliness of the Army's MPT requirements determination procedures.
