E. Kazakh-AEDS t*. General Linear Model Magnitude Studies. Dynamic (Amplitude) Criteria for Automatic Association. Synthetic Data for Evaluation of Automatic Association.

Abstract

Several short studies were undertaken to investigate questions of interest in magnitude:yield and automatic association. Approximately 150 t values were computed for AEDS-E. Kazakh paths, and t corrections for the AEDS stations were obtained. Application of the general linear model to shots in granite and sandstone-shale in the United States showed that a single hard-rock curve was inadequate for these two different media. New methods were developed for making use of amplitude data and synthetic alphanumerical data was generated in order to test automatic association routines. Experimental later-phase distance amplitude relations were determined for this last project by analysis of data from Network Event Processor bulletins.
