Retraction and Lowering of the Mirage Undercarriage.

Abstract

The retraction and lowering process on the aircraft and operation of the jacks were investigated in the laboratory following a failure to lock down. Hydraulic system pressure were measured but no faults were found. It was considered that mechanical malfunction of the internal lock was the probable cause of failure.
