Study to Determine the CB (Chemical/Biological) Threat and Define Alternative Crew Protection Systems for the Advanced Attack Helicopter (AAH). Volume 1

Abstract

A chemical biological threat is defined and applied to the Advanced Attack Helicopter as presently designed. Conclusions are reached regarding the safety and mission effectiveness of the helicopter against this threat. Various change options to improve the chemical/biological characteristics of the Advanced Attack Helicopter are evaluated and recommendations made.
