Mobilization and Defense Management Technical Reports Series. International Terrorism: The DOD Approach.

Abstract

This paper analyzes the Department of Defense (DOD) approach to the defense and protection of its members against terrorism when serving abroad. The common as well as unique factors of DOD and each service were analyzed to determine if the guidance, service approaches and organization provide the network required to ultimately provide protection to the DOD member and his family serving abroad.
