Mobilization and Defense Management Technical Reports Series. Mobilization Studies Program Report. Selective Service Boards. Will They Be Ready?

Abstract

This paper investigates the potential for measuring and improving the attitudes and retention rate of Selective Service Board members. It was hypothesized that improving attitudes and retention would improve performance which, in turn, would increase the probability that sufficient concripts could be processed to support a protracted war.
