April 1983 Floods Amite River Basin.

Abstract

This report presents data associated with the flooding during April 1983 in the Amite River Basin, Louisiana. Field investigations were made by survey teams which collected data by personal interviews and visual inspections of flooded areas. The report delineates acreages flooded by stream basins and flood damages for the following categories: urban, rural, agricultural, government, transportation, utilities, and vehicles.
