Maintenance Performance System (Organizational). Characteristics of Effective Motor Sergeants: Research Leading to a Curriculum Specification

Abstract

The purpose of this effort is to develop the Maintenance Performance System-Organizational (MPS-O) which is an integrated system for measuring maintenance performance, diagnosing performance problems, taking corrective actions, and providing training. This report describes a study to determine the characteristics of effective motor sergeants and to develop a specification for a curriculum to prepare prospective motor sergeants for their job.
