Mud Mountain Wildlife Inventory and Habitat Analysis.

Abstract

Detailed inventory of wildlife and management alternatives. Special attention has been given elk ecology their use of Mud Mountain Dam project lands. Also examines characteristics and relative wildlife value of snags created by the 1974 test pool and provides management recommendations appropriate with regard to wildlife potential. Essential habitats have been noted. Management guidelines are presented to preserve critical habitat and to improve marginal habitat. Interpretive opportunites are also discussed. (Author)
