An Automated System for Characterizing Laser Pulses.

Abstract

An automated data acquisition system consisting of a Photon drag monitor, pyroelectric detector, digitizer, and computer is used to accurately and reproducibly calculate laser pulse peak intensity as well as many other important parameters including energy and pulse lengths. This system, along with a working computer program, is explained in detail. (Author)
