Wave Attenuation in Periodic Structures.

Abstract

The analytical and experimental results for the attenuation of traveling bending waves in a uniform beam with tuned periodic cantilever ribs are presented. Results are given for one, three, five, seven, fifteen and an infinite number of sections. (Author)
