Workforce Motivation in 1983: A Review for DoD Policy Implication.

Abstract

This thesis investigates the theories, strategies, and techniques for productivity enhancement via increasing workforce motivation. It reviews previous research which explored the factors of employees morale and job satisfaction. Different perspectives of the concepts of motivation and productivity are offered. It considers contemporary employee motivational problems in management and suggests improvements for DoD consideration.
