Mathematical Modelling of Waveguiding Techniques and Electron Transport. Volume 2.

Abstract

This report describes techniques and computer programs developed to analyze various problems. The scope of this work extended into three technical areas: 1) the study of dielectric waveguide modes and arrays of dielectric waveguides; 2) the study of a mechanism for producing diffraction gratings in crystals exhibiting photorefractivity; and 3) the problem of electron scattering and transport in solids.
