An Analysis of Dental Emergencies during Combat and Peacetime Exercises,

Abstract

The objective of this study was to accumulate and evaluate data on the impact of dental emergencies during combat and peacetime exercises of the U.S. Army. Information has been collected from World War II, the Korean Conflict, the Vietnam War and three peacetime exercises. This information has been compared and contrasted where appropriate and conclusions drawn. Possible avenues of future research and development are included consequent to these conclusions.
