Abstract

This report contains data to assist Warner Robins Air Logistic Center in planning the transition to in-house (organic) support of weapon system Operational Flight Software. The planning guidance, which is consistent with Department of Defense, Air Force and generally accepted industry software management practices, is provided to assist in the establishment of a comprehensive cost effective computer program integrated support posture. The report summarizes the analysis of alternative software support approaches that were made to determine the characteristics for the building blocks that will most effectively reduce costs.
