A Compilation of Moored Current Meter Data from the Region of the North Pacific Boundary Current. Volume 33.

Abstract

An array of 15 current meters was set in the Northern Pacific from June 1981 to July 1982. It was located along 175 W from 51 N to 46 N, and instruments were set at 2000 m and deeper. The objective was to explore the northern boundary current system of the North Pacific. Current and temperature measures were made. The data are presented graphically as time series, histograms, scatter plots, progressive vector diagrams and spectral plots. Tables of statistics of temperature and velocity are also shown.
