Nitroguanidine Wastewater Pollution Control Technology: Phase 2 Wastewater Characterization and Analytical Methods Development for Organics

Abstract

Optimal methodology for analysis of the possible organic constituents of nitroguanidine production wastewater is reported. Nitroguanidine, nitrosoguanidine, cyanoguanidine, melamine, and ammeline are determined by high pressure liquid chromatography, guanidine by ion chromatography, and cyanamide and urea by spectrophotometric methods.
