Infrared Measurements of Vehicles and Weapons

Abstract

This TOP describes techniques and instrumentation for measuring infrared (IR) radiation during development and production tests of military ground vehicles and weapons. Such measurements are made to determine IR signatures of vehicles and temperatures of weapon tubes during a firing program. Graphs and diagrams are presented to indicate typical measurements but are not intended to represent a particular test firing or evaluation. (Author)
