Characterization of Acetylene Terminated Sulfone (ATS-G)

Abstract

An acetylene terminated sulfone (ATS) mixture, prepared for the Air Force by Gulf Chemicals (ATS-G), was separated by column chromatography into its individual components which were characterized by spectroscopy and other common techniques of analysis. Cure reactions of ATS-G and its components were next examined by DSC and thermal stabilities by TGA.
