Problem Definition Study on Emission By-Product Hazards from Diesel Engines for Confined Space Army Workplaces.

Abstract

A review of the available literature was undertaken to identify and characterize diesel exhaust emissions, to identify the factors which determine exhaust composition, to relate the potential effects of exhaust composition to air quality of confined space workplaces, and to evalute the monitoring and modeling methdology which has been used to ensure that air quality standards are maintained under such conditions.
