Analysis of an Integration Method for Rapidly Oscillating Integrands.

Abstract

A collocation method for evaluating integrals of rapidly oscillating functions is analyzed. The method is based on the approximation of the antiderivative of the integrand as the solution of an ordinary differential equation via polynomial collocation. Numerical examples are presented. (Author)
