Tactical Electronic Warfare Environment Simulator. Real-Time Subsystem. Volume 2. Design Description,

Abstract

The software for the TEWES resides in the Control Subsystem which includes a CPU with 48K word memory interfaced to two moving head disk drives, an operator terminal, a printer, and interfaces to the TEWES Digital Subsystem and the Navigation Computer of the system under test. The disks will hold the computer programs and data. The data files include scenario files which describe the environment to be simulated, Maximum Power, Antenna Gain and Threshold files and data extraction files which are used to store scenario events, operator actions, and stimulator status information. The operator's terminal consists of a 24 line by 80 character CRT and a standard keyboard. The terminal is used by the operator to enter commands to control the simulation and modify the scenario and to display status messages.
