Network Repair Level Analysis Model User's Guide,

Abstract

This user's guide describes a model for determining repair level decisions by considering life cycle maintenance related costs. The model formulates the repair level decision problem as a network analysis problem. This approach was chosen because it explicitly considers the indenture level relationships between items (Line Replaceable Units) and (Shop Replaceable Units) and considers support equipment as a resource shared by a group of items. Although the decision problem is formulated as a cost network it is not necessary for the user to construct the network or manually solve it. This is done by the computer program written for the model.
