The Development of a Mathematical Foundation for Cellular Image Processing.

Abstract

The primary result of this research effort has been the development of an image algebra that can serve as the foundation of a common algebraically based image processing language. In comparison to other existing image algebras, this algebra is capable of expressing common image processing algorithms and transforms in terms of its operators. (Author)
