Theory and Applications of Random Fields.

Abstract

The main results discussed in this final report include: (1) A discussion of the sample path behavior of chi-squared stochastic processes, with emphasis on the ways in which such processes exhibit non-normal behavior. (2) A discussion of the existence and path continuity of set indexed processes with independent increments. (3) Information on the distribution of suprema of random fields and empirical processes, with applications to stochastic modeling and statistical hypothesis testing. (Author)
