Enhancements to the Economic Impact Forecast System (EIFS).

Abstract

This report documents the methodologies of three systems selected for inclusion within the Economic Impact Forecast System (EIFS): the Bureau of Reclamation Economic Analysis Model (BREAM), the Regional Industrial Multiplier System (RIMS), and the Defense Logistics Agency Employment Impact System. These enhancements to EIFS will provide the user with more sophisticated economic modeling capabilities for evaluating the socioeconomic impacts of Department of Defense actions and programs. The enhancements will increase the overall utility of EIFS and will be available as an integrated system. (Author)
