Evaluation of a Vibration Technique for Detection of Barely-Visible Impact-Damage in Composites

Abstract

A vibration analysis technique has been used for nondestructive evaluation of the integrity of fiber composite components which contain barely- visual impact-damage. A description of the method and the associated problems is presented together with the results of laboratory tests.
