Speeding Up the Help Hydrodynamic Code,

Abstract

The Eulerian hydrodynamic code HELP(Hydrodynamic Elastic Plastic) has been employed at Materials Research Laboratories (MRL) for some years to model problems in warhead research. One disadvantage of HELP has been the long computer run-times associated with its use. This report describes a modification to the code which makes it run up to three times faster.
