Preparation of Solid Electrolytes,

Abstract

Several methods have been studied for preparing solid electrolytes involving silver iodide, thallium (I) iodide, and copper (I) iodide with quarternary ammonium iodides, ternary-sulfonium iodides, and pseudohalides. A range of compositions of silver iodide and trimethylsulfonium iodide gives electrolytes with specific conductivities close to 0.04 S/cm. (Author)
