A New Look at USAF Public Affairs Officer Manning

Abstract

This document examines the present procedures used by the Air Force in accessing new officers into the public affairs career field, compares those procedures against those of similar organizations, and suggests methods for improving the procedures so that the overall mission -- providing quality public affairs service to the USAF and the American taxpayer -- is better served.
