Cost Analysis of Mode S Data Link Avionics System for the Low-Performance General Aviation Aircraft Community.

Abstract

This report presents the results of a cost analysis of five Mode Select (Mode S) data link avionics configurations that may be implemented for the low-performance general aviation aircraft community. ARINC Research Corporation developed the Mode S data link avionics designs and considered in this analysis using state-of-the-art technology. (Author)
