The Calculation of the Radar Vertical Coverage Diagram,

Abstract

Algorithms are described for the calculation and plotting of radar vertical coverage diagrams. Two contour VCD algorithms are presented, with a brief discussion on the problem of numerical stability, and the effects of ship motion and frequency agility. (Author)
