Abstract

Each site inspection consisted of: (a) Preparing a site map of the reach that included the stream-bank protection works; (b) Taking pertinent photographs; (c) Taking a bag sample of disturbed soil subject to erosive action near the protection works; (d) Identifying and taking notes on the factors affecting the integrity of the protection works.
