Multiple Scattering Effects of an Ensemble of Irregularly Shaped Particles.

Abstract

The research dealt with the study of the propagation characteristics of wave passing through an ensemble of nonspherical particles for which the multiple scattering effects are important. Using the vector transport theory approach which includes the depolarization effects due to irregularly shaped particles, the incoherent specific intensities caused by the multiple scattering effects were computed.
