The Creation of a Central Database on a Microcomputer Network.

Abstract

This thesis discusses the design and development of a central database on a network of microcomputers. It provides an overview of the methodology utilized in creating the system, along with the problems associated with a central database. The thesis includes the source listings for the creation of the system and a discussion of the difficulties of controlling contention within the networked database environment. (Author)
