Establishing Mandatory Academic Degree Guidance for AFROTC (Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps) Rated Officer Accessions
Abstract
Investigates a potential dilemma between the need for technical rated accessions and the quality of pilot candidate selections. Addresses the issue through a more analytical determination of technical accession requirements, a review of recent UPT attrition trends, a composite look at current studies isolating attributes indicative of UPT success, and the formulation of attribute profiles for each commissioning source. The project establishes minimum technical accession levels which maintain efficient academic degree guidance while advocating a stance which allows effective freeflow of quality pilot selections.
