Clear Skies at Altitude.

Abstract

This paper provides statistics on the probability of clear sky as a function of altitude as well as estimates of how these probabilities change the distance traveled. Information is provided for Central Europe, North and South Korea, and desert and mountainous regions of the Mideast.
