Improvements to IBMPIP.

Abstract

Two batch air defense programs named P001 and MICE reside on the Naval Postgraduate School IBM 3033 computer. The programs compute the probability of kill of an aircraft by defensive weapons. Data is fed to the programs by an interactive preprocessing program named IBMPIP. Improvements to IBMPIP are proposed to enhance existing capabilities or provide new capabilities. Areas addressed are: introducton of user friendliness, enhancement of graphics capabilities, improvement in the accuracy of results, and a suggested philosophy for evolutionary improvements.
