Atmosphere Temperature Profile Recovery Using Partial Interferometry.

Abstract

A model for the radiative transfer of CO2 at 15 microns through representative earth atmospheres is constructed in order to investigate the efficiency of temperature profile recovery using selected partial interferograms. The recovered profiles and their root mean square errors are then compared in order to evaluate the apparent advantage in using partial interferometry.
