Aquilla Lake, Brazos River Basin, Texas, Pre-Impoundment Environmental Study: Supplement to Design Memorandum Number 9, Master Plan (in Response to: 40CFR 1505.3),

Abstract

Aquilla Lake is a reservoir project of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District. This report was prepared to meet the requirements established and mandated by the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 to further the objectives of the Office Chief of Engineers stated policy of protecting environmental concerns in all phases of planning, design, construction, and operation and maintenance of each water resources project. This study provides a detailed description of the fish and wildlife resources and environmental quality of the Aquilla Lake project area. With this basic study, the Fort Worth District will have a point of reference and be able to monitor project related changes and improve the understanding for all individuals with regard to the impact Corps of Engineers water resource projects have on the local fish and wildlife resources.
