About Ambiguity and Q-Functions.

Abstract

In the Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) community, considerable emphasis is placed upon the utilization of ambiguity and, to a greater extent, Q-functions. Quite often these functions are incorrectly applied and almost always mislabeled. The purpose of this report is to present a short tutorial on the origin and application of these functions. (Author)
