Abstract

The dam at Peter Pond is an earthfill dam with a downstream masonry wall. The dam has a maximum height of 10 feet and is approximately 255 feet long. It is classified in the 'significant' hazard category. The dam is considered to be in good to fair condition. Based on size and hazard classification, the test flood fall between the 100 year storm and 1/2 the PMF. (Author)
