Improvement Process for the Long - Range Logistics Force Structure Management System (LFSMS).

Abstract

Battelle's Columbus Laboratories have supported AFLC in the application of the long - range Logistics Force Structure Management System (LFSMS) planning system. It is the purpose of this document to comment on the success of the planning model as it was applied to Improvement Process. This report, a Lessoned Learned document, is presented in two parts. The first covers support activities to Level II Improvement planning from its initiation in September 1981 through the initial planning meeting in November 1981. The second part addresses the support provided to later planning sessions.
