Multivariable L-Infinity Sensitivity Optimization and Hankel Approximation,

Abstract

The problem of designing a feedback compensator to minimize a weighted L-infinity norm of the sensitivity function of a MIMO linear time invariant system is considered. The problem is solved by establishing its equivalence to the different but related problem of multivariate zeroeth order optimal Hankel approximation solved recently by Kung and Lin. (Author)
